The biggest grind are collectibles, outposts/radio towers, and unlocking all the skills.

There’s two sets of collectibles, one you need all 20 letters and the other you only need any 60/120 relics - and you don’t even need a guide because you can buy maps in the game that show you the location of each collectible.

There aren’t that many outposts across the map, and if you don’t let enemies set off alarms then you could complete them in a couple minutes each at most. Radio towers are platforming sections and they’re also pretty easy and short, with not that many in the game and all visible from when you start the game (but not all accessible, you need to keep playing the story to unlock the South Island). The hardest part with these are the controls which aren’t designed around climbing, but it saves you at the bottom of the tower so if you fall and die you’ll be mostly alright.

There are quite a few skills, most locked behind mission progress, and a couple are locked behind very easy challenges (get 10 handgun kills, 10 mounted gun kills), and it’s pretty easy to get XP for skill points.

The game itself is still a bit rough, definitely feels its age compared to any recent game, but even compared to Far Cry 4. But it’s relatively short, doesn’t ask too much of the player, and enjoyable enough that it won’t feel like too much of a burden to grind.

One of if not the best Far Cry game to play. The story is brilliant and the decision at the end is tough. In general, it is your typical Far Cry experience but, this just sticks out for some reason. The platinum journey is the same as most Far Cry games which include beating the game, taking over outposts, doing challenges, and distracting guards. Luckily there are no online trophies. Well worth the play to have this game in your platinum collection.
