Doom Eternal is the perfect follow up to doom 2016 but it also has an overall harder trophy list in comparison, be prepared to commit to the time needed to get this platinum as due to how old this game is unless you're boosting with friends you're going to spending a majority of this platinum grinding the online trophies due to how dead the servers are and because of three grindy online trophies.

The single player trophies help you get into the swing of how Eternal plays and i would highly recommend at least doing a full playthrough before going into the online mode as that is where you're gonna find the most difficulty when going through.

The online trophies aren't that bad however there are three specific trophies to look out for here as they will be the hardest to do, those are Blood Bath (kill 200 players in BATTLEMODE), Weapons Expert (Kill a Player Demon with all eight of the slayers weapons including the bfg which you only get on round 4) and Truce between Demons (Heal yourself or a teammate for a total of 50k health).

You're also required to complete the single player campaign twice, once on the standard playstyle and once on 1up mode with at least 13 extra lives by the end, you start this mode with three lives which is why you need at least 13 by the end, if you lose all your lives that's it and you have to restart from the start of the game, while this can seem intimidating don't worry, as you can put it on the lowest difficulty if you're scared of having to restart all the way from the beginning.

Here are some tips for getting the trophies.
Single player:
-have a collectibles guide with you so you don't miss any and have to restart the level or go on a wild goose chase, personally i used video guides but there are plenty of written guides online.
-Keep an eye on your weapon mastery challenges, while some challenges are easy a few challenges can be tough if you don't keep them in mind so make sure to check what challenges you need to do.
-Speaking of challenges if you do miss any don't worry, you can just use level select and go back to grinding, this also works if you missed any collectibles, if you do use level select use some of the cheats as they do not lock the trophies and can make kill requirements easier.

• If you haven't collected all the crystals and got all the suit perks do not use the cheats that give you max upgrades as that can bug out the trophies related to those.
  -For 1up mode be careful during the count down on the super gore nest stage as if you do not escape in time it will ignore any extra lives and force you to restart from the beginning of the campaign.

Online:
-If you have friends (or two spare playstations for some reason) you can boost your online trophies as you can still unlock trophies in private matches.
-When going for the Blood Bath trophy play as the slayer as the demons can respawn infinitely while the slayer can only die once
-For the Truce between Demons trophy make sure at least one of you is playing as the mancubus as they have the largest health, do not play as the revenant as they have the least amount of health, if you manage to get to a fourth round get the team heal ability as it will heal 50% of your hp and 25% of your teammates, if you're boosting this upgrade can very quickly get you the trophy with the right set up.
-For the Mix and Match trophy only the original five demons will count, the dread knight will not contribute towards this trophy as it was added in with a later update.
