Experience Ape Escape originally released on the PlayStation console, enhanced with up-rendering, rewind, quick save, and custom video filters. Hunt down hundreds of cheeky chimps in the original Ape Escape adventure and collect loads of cool gadgets and tools, including a slingshot, monkey-net, sky-flying propeller, radio-controlled car, and monkey radar. Enjoy over 20 levels of madcap mayhem plus bonus mini-games including ski racing and Monkey Boxing.

Very fun game. My only gripe is that controls feel very dated, but that is what to expect from ps1 game. Plat is also easy and fun - it doesn't overstay its welcome.
A PS1 Classic that is still a blast to go through after all those years. Oh, and we owe this game for introducing the DualShock to the world, with it's analog sticks.
Ape Escape is a 3D Platformer, created by Sony Computer Entertainment, and released in 1999.
It is a game about catching apes, and somehow it manages to be very fun despite janky controls (which I don't mind, I have mastered jank).
The game is short yet sweet, and the Platinum is not difficult in the slightest. It's a pretty good time even if you don't use the rewind feature.
The only flaw this game has is that it does feel dated in a lot of sections, but it doesn't mean it becomes playable. It feels good to play and control despite all that.
I like this game, but it's not my favorite Ape Escape game, that goes to the sequel.
