About This Game
Experience Ape Academy 2 originally released on the PSP system, enhanced with up-rendering, rewind, quick save, and custom video filters. The apes have finally graduated from the Ape Academy, so this term things are going to be a little different! Evil genius Specter has invented a new card game and it’s sweeping the globe, helping him on his way towards world domination. Get ready to mix it up with the monkeys using Specter’s ‘scissors, paper, rock’ cards – there are 300 to collect – before taking them on in over 100 fiendishly difficult mini-games. Just don’t underestimate the apes, no matter how silly they act; Specter has put an ultra-rare platinum monkey card up for grabs (not to mention a year’s supply of bananas) and they’ll do anything to claim the prize!

I was letdown by this game considering how much I enjoyed Ape Escape 1 and 2, and that's a shame because it looks decently fun with friends, but not very fun when you're playing by yourself.
Ape Academy 2 (or Ape Escape Academy 2) is a party game, developed by Shift and Alvion, released in 2005.
I don't have much to say other than that it's a very basic and bland collection of minigames, with a boring campaign mode, and a platinum trophy that really outstays it's welcome.
When compared to other party games I played, especially the 2011 Rio licensed game (which is fantastic), it falls apart quickly.
Granted it's a PSP game, but if I had a PSP and owned this game, I'd rather just go outside and play badminton.
I am not harsh on this game much because I do understand the limitations, but when your prequel had a better selection of minigames, then I can't really be too forgiving.
