I never played it before so no nostalgia here. Gameplay is very dated and not much fun. Fine if you want easy quick plat.

General Gameplay
It's just a wholly unfun experience. The controls show their age in the worst way while the gameplay is unintuitive. If you were around in the 90's when games like this were dime a dozen, you'll know this pain well. The core gameplay boils down trying to find as much speed as possible while dodging obstacles. It starts to get frustrating when you realize a clean run comes down entirely to your luck with cars/pedestrian spawns at intersections.

Trophy List

The trophy list is straightforward but uninteresting. It boils down to just running a number of races through the various stages and winning a championship. Thankfully the game is an emulated PS1 title so you can take advantage of the rewind feature, but this only serves to make any trophy in the game trivial.

The Positives

If you like old school racing games and don't mind if they really show their age, the game does have some interesting gimmicks. Not to mention there is 4 player local multiplayer so it could be a good time with friends, even if your goal is to just struggle together.
